Le Trou: Event Posters
Amsterdam-based collective Le Trou bring people together through music, art and food. In order to mark their upcoming 2nd anniversary, they asked me to design & illustrate a commemorative deck of cards to form a souvenir / merch item with which to mark the occassion. These portraits pay homage to treasured friends & collaborators of the collective, including the three founders as joker cards.

Hey! 👋
My name is Jess, I'm a designer, illustrator and artist based in Yorkshire, UK. I've a background in web & graphic design, having previously worked in publishing / eCommerce, where I designed fun books & card games and redesigned this homepage.
I love the process of trying to capture a scene as it unfolds around me, and particularly love projects that combine both beautiful, user friendly design principles with traditional artwork. I'm interested exploring the themes of diaspora, belonging, and the idea of 'home' in its many forms. This is my favourite book of 2025 (so far).
